Pardon the interruption

Sorry it has been so long since our last posting. We've all been very busy going live with our new software and have had time for little else.

The positive news is that we went live with our new software in mid-October and except for some expected bumps in the road, we've done very well. We got our offices up to full speed less than two weeks after going live and the transition has gone very well.

The most exciting part of this whole project is that we are still only scratching the surface of the software. In the coming months we will have the ability to really do much more such as having the ability to interact with patients on the internet by having them pay bills or make appointments.

This project has seen many staff members put in long hours to get staff trained and ready. I really can't thank them enough for all the hard work. They are the reason they've made this so successful.

We continue to be proud of the the investment we make in Milauskas Eye Institute to provide our patients with the best technology possible. Our commitment to providing the best in cataract surgery, lasik and eyecare in general remains our primary focus.
